after the conclusion of classes, the school environment bustled with various activities
some students had gone home, while others remained behind to fulfill cleaning duties, certain individuals engaged in crucial student council meetings, while some dedicated their time to practice sessions

zhanghao rested his head on his bag which he had placed on the table, gazing upon the girl with his huge eyes

his excitement peaked when he saw the door open, and his face lit up upon spotting wanyi entering
but then his joy turned to concern as he saw xiao hua accompanying her
he knew she would be taking advantage of wanyi and he couldn’t allow that
wanyi then waved at ricky and only him, and he responded with a soft smile
“hi guys” wanyi greeted the guys who were chilling by the bleachers

“not good” was how he responded and he went back to playing games on his phone
with xiao hua’s arrival, an icy and tense atmosphere settled over the previously vibrant practice space
unlike the usual days filled with lively conversations and laughter, an uncomfortable awkwardness hung in the air
